Our students come to us from seven different countries and from several different original majors: Psychology, Education, Sociology, Political Science, Management, Information Studies, and Linguistics, to name just a few. They share a passion for learning and for educational improvement using the tools of cognitive, behavioral, and social sciences. In 2007 four of our students earned their master's degree and six of our students defended their doctoral dissertations during Fall 2007 and Spring 2008. Our students present their research at diverse regional, national and international conferences and publish it in peer-reviewed journals. They teach educational psychology, assessment and human relations and assist in statistics, assessment, research methods lifespan development, and social psychology courses. They serve as representatives to the FSU Program in Instructional Excellence and help coordinate our department's orientation for new graduate students.
